As Inter Miami’s co-owner, Beckham rejoins LA Galaxy, where he will be looking to Luis Suarez, Lionel Messi, and the rest of the team to win back-to-back MLS titles

In advance of Sunday night’s match between Inter Miami and his former team, LA Galaxy, David Beckham has returned to Los Angeles.

The Miami co-owner played for the Galaxy for five years towards the end of his career, winning two MLS Cups with the team before moving on to Paris Saint-Germain, where his storied career came to an end.

But this weekend, he will be facing his former team as Miami looks to defeat LA on Sunday night to make it two wins out of two this season.

A few hours before kickoff, Beckham was spotted getting to Dignity Health Sports Park, where he signed autographs, posed for pictures and strolled on the same pitch where he once made his living.

On Sunday, Lionel Messi and company aim to win their second consecutive MLS title of the year.

Aiming for their second consecutive MLS triumph, players such as Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez got off to a quick start in Wednesday night’s 2-0 victory over Real Salt Lake City.

After joining from Gremio at the end of December, Suarez was making his team debut. The former striker for Barcelona and Liverpool set up Diego Gomez for the team’s second goal of the game.

However, Suarez was observed limping at the end of the game during the team’s victory in the season opener.

He has not concealed the fact that a knee problem that has troubled him throughout his career has prevented him from playing on a regular basis.

Tata Martino, however, made it clear that he would not be rotating for the trip to California this weekend, despite a demanding pre-season tour around the world and a lack of sleep.

And on Sunday night, Messi and Suarez were both listed in his starting lineup.
